It’s a unique proposition in the sports car world, the Porsche 911. With an engine right at the back over the rear wheels, early cars’ dynamics were eyebrow-raising at best, heart attack inducing at worst. However, it’s still a wonderful experience to drive a classic example, as it is to thrash the incredibly well sorted modern versions today. Go Turbo or GT3 if you want a massive thrill.
