Citroen DS

Why did car design not continue like this? The Citroen DS is a byword for luxury and style, with chic Parisian looks and some clever tech. A trick suspension system that didn’t use coil springs gave a magic carpet like ride, meaning it was the perfect car for ferrying around dignitaries. The sheer quirkiness means it was so much fun to drive, too.
